When you sign up for and use Teem as a customer, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Company name
• Login credentials (your password is stored in encrypted/hashed form)
• Usage logs (e.g., login activity, features used, actions taken within the product)

Data You Store Within Teem

As a CRM, Teem lets you store information about your own leads and contacts (such as their names, phone numbers, and notes) inside the platform — whether you enter it manually or it's pulled in automatically through a connected integration (see Section 3). We do not access, use, or process this data for any purpose of our own. It is stored and processed solely to provide the Service to you, the customer. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store this information about your leads and contacts.

We use the information described in Section 1 to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, or product updates
• Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Infrastructure Providers

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing or any independent purpose. To operate the Service, we use the following infrastructure providers, who store and process data strictly on our behalf:

Advertising and Messaging Integrations

To help you manage leads generated through your own marketing efforts, Teem offers integrations with:

• Google Ads — if you connect your Google Ads account, we pull lead data generated by your ad campaigns (e.g., name, phone number, email submitted through your lead forms) into your Teem CRM.
• Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) — similarly, if you connect your Meta Ads account, we pull lead data generated by your ad campaigns into Teem.
• WhatsApp Business API — if you connect WhatsApp, Teem stores your full two-way conversation history with your contacts, including phone numbers and message content, so you can manage these conversations within the CRM.

We only access this data because you, the customer, have authorized the connection to your own ad and WhatsApp accounts. We do not use this data for any purpose of our own — it is processed solely to provide the Service to you.

You can disconnect any of these integrations at any time from your account settings. Once disconnected, we stop pulling new data; previously synced data remains subject to the retention terms in Section 5 unless you request earlier deletion.

We do not currently use cookies, analytics tools, or tracking technologies on our website or within the Service. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and notify customers accordingly.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 6 months following cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems — unless we're required by law to retain it longer.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it's processed
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or outdated data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to Section 5)
• Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint about how we handle your data

Teem is a business software product intended for use by sales teams and professionals. It is not directed at, marketed to, or designed for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently done so, we will take steps to delete it.

We currently serve customers based in India, and this Policy is designed with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind. If we begin serving customers in other countries in the future, we will update this Policy to reflect any additional applicable laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
